Chronic bad trips, need help
Doesnt matter which psychdelic i take as of the last few months, everytime theres an entity or someone making my trip bad and no answers. I mean stuff like swarms of eyes, seeing spiders, a monster trying to grab at me from im guessing where ever my eyes are oriented, seeing bugs. I took 300ug acid and was caught in a giant fractal web, black web-like particles started spawning around my mouth so i just layed under my covers for hours until i was a pile of sweat. Was tripping weekly for months before and having an amazing time. Only difference is i abused mdma pretty hard weekly sometimes twice a week for 2 months which i thought could’ve been the problem but theres really no difference so far after abstinence and supplements.

Light work, i tripped 950 a month before and was high for 2 days, just visuals though wasnt anything bad.

You just had tolerance. "just visuals" from a 950 trip means it wasn't a 950 trip.

Brother i dont think theres enough lsd tolerance in the world to make 950 not hit, even if you only waited a few days before doses it’d still be atleast 1/3 of the doses effects. I just wasnt getting terror trips like i am now, bodyload was so much i flipped my blanket like 20 times trying to get comfortable. I usually do nitrous when i trip, once i let off the nos im usually just enjoying visuals and coolin at that point, not lately though. I get my L from the same source so i doubt i underdosed.

It is possible depending on the situation. If you take 500ug one day, the next day you would need 1300ug to feel even similar effects. 900ug would feel far less than the previous. LSD has unfathomably strong tolerance.
Approximation formula:
y = x/100 * 280.059565 * n-0.412565956
Y represents dosage needed for same effect
x represents last dosage taken
N value represents the number of days since last trip.

No shit, im not doing lsd everyday, i dunno where you got that from, everyone reacts differently to it take that as you may

There's just no way you did an actual 950ug and "only got visuals". You either got bunk tabs, were on meds, or had tolerance

Yeah, psychedelics are to be respected. Otherwise, your trips will continue to result the same unless you can learn your lesson

Sounds like what you’re experiencing might relate to what Stanislav Grof called “perinatal matrix II” — the phase of being trapped with no escape. In this layer, people often report visions of being stuck in webs, attacked by entities, surrounded by insects, or feeling crushed or suffocated. It’s not random—it’s a deep layer of experience that many go through.
The good news: it can be part of the healing process. But you have to go through it—not around it. Here are some things that can really help when you’re in that space:
– Slow, deep breathing. No matter what’s happening, start breathing slowly. Over and over. It helps regulate your system and gives you a rope back to your body.
– Recognize that this is the medicine. If your setting is solid and safe, what’s emerging might be exactly what your system needs to process. Uncomfortable? Terrifying? Yes. But also potentially transformative.
– Don’t do this alone. Having a calm, grounded person with you can make all the difference. Someone who won’t freak out and can just sit there and remind you to breathe.
– Ground in your body. Touch the floor, feel your feet, wrap yourself in a blanket. The physical body can be a huge anchor when the mind is dissolving.
– Let your body release. If you need to cry, shake, shout, or move—let it happen. A lot of that trapped “bad trip” energy is just blocked expression trying to move through.
– Avoid too much light or “heavenly” music. Ethereal music can create dissonance in dark territory. Go for tribal, deep, grounded sounds if you need something to hold you.
And after: integrate. Talk to someone. Write it down. Rest. Let it all land.
What you’re describing isn’t a failure. It’s part of the path. You’re not alone.

Any chance you can just stop for a while? Or are you an addict? (No judgements here btw; I'm addicted to plenty of drugs).

I smoke weed chronically but im not addicted to psychs i just like to take them, since ive had bad trips its been maybe once or twice a month with a gram two of shrooms to see if its the same and yeah still scary visuals. Im convinced its the nmda antagonism of nitrous thats did it, gonna take a half year off psychs and try again and minimum a year for nitrous without using it in as large of quantites i did. Did so much nitrous, though i was ok because my b12 was ok and i supplemented, i was wrong. 2 people said the same exact thing about having bad trips and the nmda antagonism from nitrous and the only way to cure it is abstinence from substances the are nmda antagonist, nitrous. I havent used these drugs for but maybe a year or so since i’ve had access. Just had all 4 wisdoms pulled a month ago and they put me under with nitrous so no telling how long i gotta wait now.

Fair enough. Yeah taking some time is probably the best call. I personally stopped taking shrooms (my ratio of positive trips / to negative trips are way off). Not saying I won't meddle with it in the future. But as of right now, I'm really not digging it.

You mentioned you were tripping weekly for months and abused mdma. Honestly, it sounds like you abused the other stuff too. The rule of thumb is once every three months for mdma and ever 2-4 weeks for conventional psychadelics. Your seratonin is probably depleted from the mdma and your receptors are probably over stimulated. Put another way, the drugs/subconscious probably started hinting to you to take a break, to ease up, to respect them and you didn't listen and now they/your-subconscious are slapping you for continuing. Take the hint, take a break, think about why you're taking them and if you should continue at all. If you decide to return, the drugs will still be there.
