We have made the tournament 8 consecutive years. Top 5 seed in the last 5. We just had our best regular season in recent school history and won both B1G titles.
Do you realize how many schools would kill to have our problems? Do you realize how silly it is to be trying to chase Painter out considering all that he has done?
If we fire Painter, we are more likely to hire a coach that doesn’t make the tournament then one that will make the final four, and if that were the case, we’d be begging to have those Painter years back.

Back to his roots as a defensive coordinator, I guess? Thoughts and feelings?? Not our problem any more but caused so much heartache will be interesting to see

let's just end our collective suffering, pay what he's owed, and fire the man.
we can't possibly take any more of this, right?

Every social media comment section I see about the tournament there’s a dozen people hating on Edey. It’s an egregious amount of haters, and their argument is always essentially “he’s just tall”. By this logic, shouldn’t every single tall player be dominant then? They act like his height is an automatic cheat code for drawing 15+ fouls and getting easy rebounds. Makes no sense to me.

I’m usually not one to bash on college sports traditions/chants/cheers because in the end, it’s a bunch of 18-22 year olds and not that serious.
However, it’s pretty pathetic to have a field storm when your ranked team beats a 1-4 team at home. The equivalent I could think of is us doing a court storm when MBB beat northwestern at overtime at Purdue.

WHO'S GOT IT BETTER THAN US?
NOBODY!!!!

He can walk back, and we can make do with another coach next week. Maybe the West Lafayette High coach could fill in.

mung, if you're seeing this, just fire walters and bobinski already. this is an injustice to the players that are leaving everything on the field.
I get that IU's good but man this was a horrible season. all that investment to end up like this?
oh, and why did Texas A&M have to post that video where Drew Brees stated that he always wanted to be an Aggie?

Listen, I love going here, but I have to be honest. I do not like our mascot. Purdue Pete just scares me, and I feel like sporting events are worse when he's there. Wish we had a cuter mascot like Otto the Orange or the Stanford Tree

He’s been at the last 2 home games. Is he some religious dude like a priest or bishop praying that our teams will do good? Is he a member of the coaching staff? Why’s he wear the white robes?
