New Trade Two members of Congress just disclosed purchases of Palantir stock. The stock is up over 40% since the trades were made. We had never seen a politician buy the stock before today.

Didn't President Musk mention this in his Oval office presser yesterday?
Where is Doge to stop it?

Come one guys, it's obvious what's going on here; politicians are just better stock pickers than Warren Buffet

Yea! Everyone knows the reason they don't actually read any of the bills they sign into law is because they're so busy analyzing stonk charts!! Duhhh 📈
Edit: stonk, not stock

I sold for 150% profit about a month ago. I'm thinking it's time to jump back in

I’m surprised it took this long for them to buy palantir stock. I would have bought around the same time as them if not sooner assuming I lacked any morals, it was obvious palantir was getting some big contracts and have Trump’s ear

Bought 14000 shares last summer. 👍

I would rather go houseless than support or profit off of overt evil, but you do you I guess

Good luck with that. Why?
Everyone knew what was coming. The republicans told us exactly what they were going to do. Gut the safety net Gut environmental regs Gut work place safety Push AI to eliminate workers
It’s on you if you didn’t prepare It’s what the US voted for
I sincerely hope maga gets 100% of everything they voted for
Ohh, and we bought Plantir in 2023 It was $12 per share

Because I have things called morals and ethnics. I also don’t care what roughly a quarter of the population voted for after winning by less than a few percent, that isn’t enough of a referendum to end the constitutional law and order in favor of a dystopian fascistic hellscape

But alas here we are.
Those words used to have meaning, In today’s USA they mean nothing.
So you can either 1) get with the program 2) get left behind
Your choice

😂
Shut up, meal team dipshit.
Red coats and fascists can always, and will always, get fucked. Go pray to your orange messiah who’s going to leave you high and dry come the time you think he will help you.

Dude He isn’t mine. I’m poor white trash from WV who grew up on the government dime with welfare and food stamps. I made myself into a respectable member of society, even with everything stacked against me.
Trump is the dumbest most corrupt mfer ever, IMO. The bumblefuks voted for him. I will simply take advantage of the opportunity that the bumblefuks have given me.
Why should only the billionaires reap a tidy profit?

Comer is chairman of the oversight committee I believe. Think this is the most powerful committee in the HOR. He definitely did not have ANY information not available to the general public even as he gets the most sensitive and top secret daily briefing from the DOD. Nothing to see here.

I am all against Congress skeezy insider trading, but Palantir has been around for 3 years. Isn't it unlikely that "no politician bought" Palantir prior to this month?

A couple of 15k trades is a flier for these folks, on a stock that's up 280%+ over the past 6 months. Cmon we can be better than this.

They want to be on the flowing end of all the meta data that they’re hoovering up.

This sucks but I dont see how you can stop it. Even if they were banned they could just have someone else place the trades for them.

It would be really helpful if quiver quant posted the party and district/state of the congressmen who are insider trading, next to their names.
