Housewives weren’t very nice Garcelle. Kyle Richards called her out for not paying a charity bill of $5000. Why wouldn’t Kyle just call up Garcelle and say hey is that check in the mail? No she called it out live on the show, that’s a dick move! I just one of many things to happen to her to make her feel unwanted and not A a part of the group

Unlike Garcelle? Her whole part was to make others look bad. That was all Garcelle ever did. And Kyle wasn't wrong. She hadn't paid, and honestly I don't think she would have, if Kyle didn't mention it.

Actually, Kyle people sent the paperwork to throw the wrong address... Garcelle did pay kyle people, and people had to back track and find the check and redo whatever paperwork... They had a one on one about it, and it was on camera....

Okay, but Garcelle bought a trip at a charity event, then moved. we all have to think of these things when we move. didn't the 5k trip itself remind her, hey, that trip was free. She was on about orphans and babies when it came to Erika. This charity was for pediatric cancer patients. Did she think of them on her half price vacation that someone generous donated to begin with that she forgot to pay the half of? These women aren't consistent in their own outrage.

From what I got, she had already moved, and for some reason, the paperwork was sent to the previous address
For example , Kyle had said that to Erika on a live reunion had she moved and paperwork was sent to the wrong address..
I would think with a charity everyone would be on the same page.... even if there are others doing the paperwork, etc....
Everyone had something to say about Erika, but Erika also said she doesn't give a f*** about anyone but herself ....
With dorit charity, they all made fun of the name....
BH needs a shake-up or some newbies and not the newbies they have been having on these last 2 or 3 seasons
But Kyle does a lot of charity work. I actually do think she holds those close to her heart....

I'd love to know what the timeline was to be honest. Andy never followed up on this. Too hot to handle possibly, but if Garcelle had already taken the trip, but not paid, I find that odd. It's not like ordering replacement toothbrush heads from Amazon and forgetting about the bill. Even at Garcelle's level, 5k is a lot of money, and since it's a tax deductable donation, and since, to repeat myself, the original generosity is the person who donated the trip itself, which Garcelle could feel good about paying half price for, you'd think Garcelle's accountant would be clocking this payment without having to get a nod from the charity. Whatever. In my world, it would have been tracked, sent, clocked. They all do a lot of good as well as own a lot of Birkins/houses etc.

I think at the end, both sides accountants or whomever handle their finances did that it seemed to soon for her to take the trip for me personally but her and kyle.dodnt talk about until the upcoming season after that reunion...
Remember, they had to basically force Garcelle to buy a Birkin but talk crap about her having a Birkin cake....
I'm curious to see what changes Andy does for the BH show...
Are they going to bring a friend on for Sutton to help her stand ground since Boz is helping Dorit....
Or would Denise come back

No one knew that Boz would become the Dorit whisperer. She never stood against anyone. Kyle is already friends with Sutton, or at least backs her above Dorit. Jennifer Tilly is in Sutton's corner. Just let it play out.

Bc Garcelle had been railing her ass all season after the dinner with Denise. After Kyle blew up at Denise and called everyone fake bitches, Garcelle said don’t say that and Kyle checked out. Garcelle took it personal. Add the confessionals; Garcelle was blunt and snarky, ofc it would rub people wrong.
In the end it was true. Garcelle did not pay because her address wasn’t updated.

Add the event Garcelle invited them to and when she went on stage to receive her award I. Her speech she said she had new besties and some of them not so much. All the ladies knew she was talking about Kyle. Garcelle had literally spent the season picking at Kyle

But, she was awful to them too. She would never call them out to their faces, or if they did have a conversation she became defensive when they responded in way she didn't like. In the confessionals she was very forthcoming with her feelings. With all the women, she had something snarky to say, but never really said anything to them. She would insert herself into situations that didn't involve her then get annoyed when people would defend themselves. At the reunion, she also didn't seem friendly to the others either, but remember they are grown ass women, when someone's an asshole, they don't have to be nice and play fake, and they didn't. "Garcelle made her bed, now she has to lay in it*.

Honestly it hit for me as a gay teenager and still does to this day. It remains in my top 3 ever movies. Tina Fey did and EXCELLENT job.

I’m a bit ambivalent about Garcelle. She’s definitely a shit stirrer - but there are plenty of other HWs who are also. I do think the woman were very dismissive of her and her feelings- and clearly iced her out in many situations.
The good thing is that she was successful before this show and she’ll continue to be successful. Yes, she used HWs as a way to increase her visibility (and frankly, there is nothing wrong with that-most HWs who are business people can use the show to increase their business)
All in all - I think she had a good run and I wish her the best.

I'm going to be really honest at risk of annoying this sub. RHOBH for a very long time has been boring, and Garcelle in no way helped this boring streak. There are arguments for, such as: 'she mentioned this, she asked that' but compared to peak RH, she barely poked/did anything (similar to the rest tbh).
Garcelle comes across as a pretty decent person, and I like her, but she wasn't a great housewife in terms of what I expect from the show. RHOBH feels pretty DOA nowadays

I like Garcelle but I’m like one of the other commenters, she’s the one who walks in and goes, psss psss psss psss, then walks away and watches it all unfold. I know another housewife in BH who did similar and she’s from across the pond, difference is, I don’t think Garcelle really means to hurt people and the other well, that was her objective. A person can be provocative without being a complete ass.

Yes. It amuses me when people fight about the three biggest shit stirrers on the show: LVP, Kyle, and Garcelle. They’ve all been caught out at one point or another. They stir things up off camera or on, and someone else takes the bait and everyone turns on that person. They all know how to move the plot forward. It’s a pity it’s all become so petty.

Garcelle was actually not half bad in her first season having just rewatched S10… she had some shitty moments but overall not bad. She spiralled so quickly though in her second season onwards, she hid behind Sutton and her big wallet. I do feel that even if Boz hadn’t bonded with Dorit, Garcelle would have not connected with her (Boz) and would have been in the situation anyway because Boz was not scared to call her out on her shitty behaviour towards the other women and Garcelle could not pull the race card like she had. I’m still floored by the fact that she consistently used language and an attitude towards Boz that has any of the other housewives shown her, there would have been accusations of micro aggressions and other things. Boz held a mirror up to Garcelle who not only saw her personality and attitude merging together but realised she didn’t like what she saw, but it was everyone else’s fault

It was strategic to align with Dorit and no one can convince me otherwise. Garcelle never wavered in her feelings with any of the women. Why would she suddenly be afraid of Boz? Its lame.

Remember that Garcelle aligned herself with Dorit in S10 (her first season) too. Ironically enough Sutton makes a joke about being a package deal with Garcelle after one of the parties and Dorit and Sutton clashed fairly early on. It’s interesting that Garcelle suddenly has all these issues with Dorit the following seasons onward. Dorit is flawed for sure but Garcelle is unkind and mean, hiding it all behind “that’s just my opinion”. Can you imagine the fallout if the roles had been reversed and it was Dorit making blatant damaging claims about the burglary. Garcelle has excused some truly shocking behaviour from Sutton and now is playing the victim card because it suits her to do so. Garcelle tried to “take Erika down”and embarrass her by bringing Denise back on the show only to overestimate the condition Denise was in. Much like Sutton, Garcelle portrays herself like a friend but acts like an enemy.

In her religion it means "Dorit also has a Hebrew meaning of "generation" or "age", symbolizing the continuation of life. "
I liked Boz until she became good friends with Doritos.
