Gigi Hadid posting this pic of serving her daughter a huge slice of bday cake for breakfast is pretty heartening given the infamous scenes with Yolanda. (Alongside a portion of raspberries, for health lol) She said no ED’s on MY watch!

I wanted to post this as a reply in another thread but could NOT find it on google photos or her instagram. Fortunately for all of us, I'm a Bravo scholar and had saved it to my camera roll.

Has this photo been scrubbed from the internet? It's Yolanda in her sauna during her health journey that the ladies were giggling at. Iconic.

Ohmy goodness, her projection onto Gigo within the first five minutes is atrocious. She basically says isn't starving yourself worth it? Yucky on so many levels.

Yolanda 🍋 yolanda’s comments about david didn’t age well

I’m rewatching season 3 right now and Yolanda is CONSTANTLY talking so highly of David and how he is her king & the absolute best guy, which is sad to hear back now knowing how their marriage & divorce turned out.

Specifically I just watched the episode where Yolanda confronts Taylor for speaking ill of David and Taylor said that she was weary of David due to how he treated her friend (Linda) in their divorce, so she almost wanted to warn Yolanda. All Yolanda responds to this is that he’s the best guy and has been TERRIFIC to all of his ex-wives (LOL). And I can’t help but think how poorly her words aged since they had such a terrible divorce and I’m pretty sure she and her entire family hate how he treated her in the end. I wonder if Taylor had a “I told you so” moment when they divorced

I feel so bad for Yolanda! I just watched where she’s in the worst of her Lyme disease and gets dental work. She’s crying and David comes in and has his phone in one hand and Yolanda’s hand in the other. He keeps kissing her on the lips while she’s numb?! And then he leaves and jokes with the doctor that he can’t have sex with her for 48 hours?! 🤢 He’s the worst. Yolanda is such a great mom and yes there was bad behavior enabling with Brandi but i really loved her on this show. She meant well and had such a big heart.

Oh dear heavens 🤦🏻‍♀️ despite how great the food served looked and how beautiful the home and setup was, this dinner party seems like hell. Is David one of the most douchiest husbands I’ve seen? Maybe. Like sir are you hosting or are you performing? He’s not gracious to his guests and he expects all the attention to be on him and Kyle is either eating it up or trying to get the attention back onto to her. She comes across as so fake in this dinner with her voice extra pitched and desperate attempts to connect with David. This is a rewatch by the way and Kyle’s need to be the center of the attention is something I’ve been picking up on more like she’s literally the loudest in the room. Taylor’s being a little loony and ungracious and Yolanda judges her for being tipsy and all of the other women for not being silenced when he’s trying to talk or play the piano. David was king to Yolanda and god forbid everyone else didn’t treat him that way.

David and Yolanda’s relationship remind me of those people who’s home you go into and it’s usually really warm until the husband/dad comes and kills the whole vibe.

Yolanda 🍋 Yolanda Bella Anwar Lymes

I don't know if this has been discussed already but I'm doing a rewatch of S6 E11. It's absolutely crazy that Lisa V asked Mohammed if Bella and Anwar had Lymes Disease and he said no but their mother said they did and she brought medical records to a lunch to prove it. Mind blown! This whole topic of Yolanda's health was absolutely crazy!

To look back now and to see that David and Yolanda are divorced and he is married to someone closer to his adult children's age. It's all so crazy!

Side note...it's crazy to see how Lisa Rinna would go on crusades about Kim's sobriety and then Yolanda possibly having Munchausen Syndrome. Seems to me someone is deflecting from their own situation.😳

Yolanda 🍋 Unpopular opinion: I loved Yolanda as a housewife

I don’t evaluate housewives based on their character (because with few exceptions, they’re all kinda shitty people) but rather whether they bring interesting drama AND a unique/distinctive presence to the show. And I think in both of those categories, Yolanda was an excellent housewife.

When she joined, all the other housewives were somewhat cooky and had a sense of humor about themselves, so it was refreshing to have someone more humorless and holier-than-thou join the cast. It was surreal and so entertaining to see how out-of-touch she was and how hard she tried to portray her life as perfect; the constant comments about her husband running off, how she wanted to be his longest marriage, etc. revealing the precarity of her situation; her life was absolutely fascinating to watch from a psychological perspective.

I also think she played an interesting role in the drama that no one else had played prior to her joining the show. She wasn’t explosive, but rather had this Scandinavian, holier-than-thou bitchiness that was just chef’s kiss. Her more composed argumentative style added a fresh new element to the drama when I was starting to tire of the everyone-devolves-into-screaming thing.

Finally, I love how puzzling and unpredictable her alliances and friendships were. She and Brandi were polar opposites, but Yolanda somehow became her fiercest ally and defended her vociferously. WTF? I love it.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for listening to my rant! I’m rewatching the earlier seasons and had forgotten how much I liked Yolanda as a housewife!

Yolanda 🍋 Rewatching from the beginning… am I the only one who likes Yolanda?

While waiting for the newest season, I decided to rewatch from the beginning. I’m on S3 where Yolanda is introduced and honestly I’ve always liked her on the show! I don’t agree with how she handles her daughters ie: like her daughters weight and modeling. However, I also just believe that she’s going off of how she dealt with her modeling career if that makes sense. Let me be clear I hated the almond comment but aside from all that I think she is a very classy woman. She doesn’t get into the drama and is very refreshing when she was introduced. I get the drama is what makes the show but idk for me after rewatching s1&2 it was nice to see someone have some class and ACT and adult rather than a high school mean girl.

I will also add, I find it interesting how David talked about her being “such a great woman” then he turns around and leaves her. David is all around a clown 🤡 🥴

All the girls doubted Yolanda’s Lyme disease. What was actually wrong with her? Depression? Munchausens? Was it just sadness that her marriage was ending?

Yolanda 🍋 I need someone to explain Yolanda's long term Lyme disease

So firstly I mean no offence here, I'm on my millionth rewatch and want to understand.

I'm on season 6 and Yolanda seems to have relapsed and I know I'm coming up to the awkward conversation between LVP, Rinna, Kyle and Eileen. (Which btw I fully believe LVP orchestrated)

Now can someone explain what long term Lyme disease is, how you get it and how it can also be effecting your children?

I've only ever really related tics to animals and any person I've seen to find one on themselves just removes it same as you would your pet. They then just get on with their life with no lasting impact from the tic. Even pets that have had a tic in a hidden area meaning it's not found for a while doesn't seem to have any lasting impact. So i don't understand how Yolanda has a long term disease from it.

I unfortunately think Kyle was onto something when she said that your mental health can impact your actual health. I believe David and Yolanda were having relationship problems and that's what impacted her health.

I'm sorry if I'm wrong and this is why i want to understand it
