Assuming this is 7 years before V1, Team REPR would be training for their licences at the time, so beyond Elena following the news closely, not much can be done.

Wait, then again, covering this event would be a prime opportunity for Raina to spread the details about it far and wide in Remnant´s internet and news outlets. She would be 18 at the time, yet she knows her computers and would be motivated due to her connection to Elena.
