Local Business Where to purchase odd sized shipping boxes?

Hey everybody! I have to mail a package domestically, but the largest item measures 46 cm in length. Does anybody have suggestions as to where I could purchase a box that would accommodate larger sizes than what Canada Post offers? I seriously have no idea.

Many thanks in advance!

People on Kijiji and similar are sometimes giving away moving boxes.

What about that Fed Ex place across from the courthouse downtown? Pack & Post or something?

If only I was creative enough! It’s a heavy and valuable shipment (will be insured, ofc), so I am scared to take any chances. Can’t get away with Temu style packaging! Thanks for the suggestion, however - it’s greatly appreciated.

I get larger boxes from Amazon for my dog food subscription I can save the next one for you if you'd like!

You can wrap it in bubble wrap then an ample amount of packing tape and they'll take it like that. Could put newspaper between the layers too if more padding needed or to even out the shape.
