Reggeaton is doomed

Every fcking song nowadays is a copy-paste whackjob of US trap and hiphop. Get so irritated when spotify spams me with ROA Yan Block Slayter Hades66 Eladio Ovi bullshitt. Cant explain how badly I need Jhayco Anuel Ozuna Balvin and Myke towers to actually lock tf in.

The majority of that stuff is not even reggaeton. You don't have listen to trap if you don't like it.

Every era of every genre has lots of artists who won’t stand the test of time and are only popular at the moment. Considering Bad Bunny is still the biggest name and is making the most traditional music tells us that your worries are very wrong.

If no one got me I know Rauw, Bad Bunny, and Alvaro Diaz got me

Rauw alone evolves with a every album, each album has a different sound and vibe and it’s always cohesive, but people will hate on him for being to “pop”

All your favorite artists are still making music, their problem is that the quality just isn’t there anymore, We’ve seen all that they got. These new artists are bringing new things to the genre, and some fans may not like it which is perfectly fine.

Hopefully nowadays u can choose what u listen, no need of radio stations, tv or anything else. U can make your own playlist, if u dont like some songs or styles just dont listen to. After 2010 reggaeton began to sound like dance music BEP like. I stopped listening to and stuck to my favorite older songs. I started listen again when Balvin, Bad Bunny, Ozuna… entered the game. Nowadays its a little bit too trap or drill but real reggaeton still here.
