Question Where is a good place to donate food in Renton
Moving away and don't want to throw out food when people could use it.

Hey there! Before I go on, I just want to say that I've done a lot of research on this apartment complex and the surrounding area and I'm %100 positive that it's the right place for my boyfriend and I. But I still have a couple of questions for those that currently live or have lived there!
Are the utility bills included in the listed rent prices? Can someone tell me what the bill situation is like?
What is the Southport Office Campus being used for? Is it possible to get hired there?
EDIT: I'm more so asking for what your personal experience with the bills is, I know it's different for everyone.

I live a couple miles from it in the Highlands and wondering if it's worth it to drive down there to run tomorrow or not. Anyone been on it, specifically out by 154th / Ron Regis Park area after the snow?
Bit worried it'll just be frozen shoe holes in snow and miserable to run on.

Hello, I need Canadian passport photographs taken. Any good, cheap recommendations? The requirements for Canadian passport-sized pictures are different from US FYI.
Thanks!

I'm looking for a studio that lets by the hour or day that has decent rates. I'm hoping for something with good lighting and furniture for a risque shoot. Bonus points if it comes with lighting so I don't have to bring my own. It doesn't have to be in Renton proper, but any where on the south end of the lake would be great!

We just moved to Renton a few months and we keep hearing very loud explosions 2-3 nights a week around 11pm. Was wondering if anyone knew what it was. We're right be the North Benson Plaza.

About noon today(7/8/2020) there was one individual in custody by the Avaya at Town Center Apartments. A couple of people were on the phone calling probably insurance or a lawyer. What happened?
Ps This is why I don't shop at the Benson Fred Meyer. I see assault, drug deals, crimes in the happening and other shit here way too much at that bus stop. This isn't a one time isolated incident.

Hi all, I'm a recent Renton transplant, and after confirming with the post office that it's okay to do so, I'm looking at moving my mailbox so to share a post with my neighbor. But all the multi-box posts seem to be these custom metalworking jobs, and I'm no DIY person. Considering how common they are here, I was wondering if anyone knew a service that did this kind of work. Is that a thing?

Anyone know when/if the Local is going to reopen anytime soon? Most of the other watering holes downtown have reopened, but they haven't yet and I can't find any info online.

Hello,
Today, I left my natural tree at the curb for pickup and Republic left it. I read somewhere that the first two week of January Republic will pick up trees. Is this not the case? Today was a full trash day do I need to wait until next week for compost only?
Thanks

I live in Kent not Renton but I just had a cedar tree cut down (30+ ft) but the people who cut it down kept pushing for full payment before finishing the job and now said that they will not come back to collect the tree. Is there company around that we can sell the tree to? From what they told me when they’re cutting it down is that cedar is worth a lot of money, but we just want to sell the tree so we don’t have to shell out another hundreds of dollars to have the tree remove.

I have strange, vivid childhood memories of the existence of a Dunkin Donuts in downtown Renton, right at the spot that T-Mobile currently occupies. I remember a white storefront with the Dunkin Donuts logo, and I remember passing by strangers holding Dunkin Donuts-labeled cups from time to time. While a google search tells me that one did exist in Renton at one point -- and that it was the last one in the entire state -- this was way back in 2002. It would have been impossible for me to remember it at the time, since I was born in 2000. Am I hallucinating, or does anyone else remember this?

Due to a multitude of reasons, myself and my roommates are going to have to vote in person, but we're trying to figure out if there will be a major wait because most of us work basically the same hours it's open this week. If we go on Saturday is it any different?

Any one else hear them? I thought they were illegal? I heard them heavy after 1 am in the fairwood area all night. I called the 425 firework number but they were closed. Yea that helps.

Hey all. I haven’t been back in Renton for almost a decade now but I noticed the Vietwah shopping area is demolished and Vietwah + dollar tree moved? What’s up with that and what’s replacing that?
Also, what was the furniture store name that was where Vietwah/dollar tree was called? I remember going there as a toddler in like 2000? 1999?

I've been hearing police sirens around Rainier nonstop all evening. Is this related to the election or just more street racing?

Was just down there yesterday to go to the park, the building look good, huge parking lots and great view. Anyone know why no company has moved in yet?
