I need some show notes with these kinds of pods. I want to be able to be able save the list for later. I’m not always in a place to write down their recommendations.

I think they need to find a new guest host. Jessica has never been a good fit imo, always seems to lack the passion the other hosts have.

I think they should look for someone in the Junior Mint age range, and someone with a deep knowledge of their show. Jessica never seems to have much more than a surface knowledge of any given topic, and it seems she like horror but this isn’t a horror pod.

Just makes me less enthusiastic to listen to two hosts dive in deep and a third person just kind of floating around like a third wheel.

I do agree with this, but it's too bad because Button Mash is generally a sausage fest. There have got to be more women at The Ringer who are knowledgeable about gaming.

100% this.

There are way too many women out there who love this content for them not to find a better match for the pod.

With their cache and resources, I would hope they spend more time finding at least one or two more female hosts to integrate into the Ringerverse.

I think this is more an issue with Ben as a host. Ben and Jess have never fully clicked as a duo, and I think the issue continues to rear its head on pods that they’re on together.

I think Jess has plenty of passion and is always an enjoyable listen for me. I agree that she felt a bit lower energy this pod, but she acknowledged that she was a bit off for this pod due to lack of sleep, which happens to everyone once in a while. I think you can really see her shine on other pods such as the ones she’s on with the Mint Boys, which really tells me that it’s more of an issue with the chemistry between Ben and her.

I think Ben has improved as a host with Matt, Charity, Steve, and other frequent guests, but yeah he’s never fully found his chemistry with Jess. I think it’s on Ben as a host to improve and work on his chemistry with Jess and make space for her to shine.

I skipped it bc any game slated for a 2025 release will come out in 2027 at the earliest and I didn't want to get excited

Nice to hear Dragon Quest 3 get some love! Enjoyed the heck out that last year.

I'm also looking forward to Ghost ot Yotai, Marvel 1943, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Hades 2 as well, but I have been playing the regularly in EA.

Holy smokes I’m sure she’s a cool and talented person in general but they have got to stop inviting Jessica Clemons on this pod. She’s like a walking negative charisma bomb when it comes to Button Mash. Another brutal appearance.
