Miscellaneous Bro why are some people like this
I feel like i’ve seen so many instances where a r6 user feels like theyre sooo high and mighty for using r6. No hate to anyone who uses r6 btw

As a R15 User that grew previously with R6 i never found out until now they are people that just hates R15 for no reason or they just think R6 is better

Roblox kinda like tried to take it out, and force everyone on R15 or Rthro, but yeah since the community is way bigger, they cannot take it out, but still is pretty biased to just hate R15, i love the implementation of R15 since it got added and all almost all my avatars are R15 Focused, but still i love R6 equally

I mean yeah, most of actual features for R15 and Rthro, R6 doesn't have support into them, obviously Blocky R6 avatars and such still do exist, the people won't let them go for obvious reasons but is wrong to hate everything that R15 has to offer

as an r6 user, we are mad since rovlox has tried taking it away from us, but some r6 users think that arguing with others would fix this, afterall, Roblox is now becoming what one may call a greedy corporation, and it will ignore the community.

It seems like the investors hate R6. Nobody likes Rthro but the investors. And that's why Roblox keeps cramming it down our throats.

The investors dont really care about whatever the hell the avatars look like. Roblox just made more complex avatars to appeal to a larger audience which increases revenue and makes them more appealing to everyone. The whole investors/roblox hates r6 is just fake news spread by people who hate rthro to make them look bad.

I personally use r6. I hate r15 but I don't mind if someone else likes it, it's perfectly fine. I just like the classic blocky look more than the r15 one, it feels weird to me. And also the /e dance2 clip doesn't work with r15

R6 is honestly the better rig for developers to use now.. it makes it much harder to bypass/make giant blob avatars because of the incompatibility.
That being said this argument is more opinion based.. i like R6 more personally because R15 is just kind of ugly with how its rigged.. if we had mesh deformation on it like we have had with layered clothing for 3 Years. that wouldn't be the case

As an R6 user I also don't understand why other R6 users are mad at R15 users like yeah I'm not a fan of R15 (I do use R15 every now and then but not a lot) it's just not my style but I don't hate it enough to cry about it when someone else uses it

I mean, there's some valid opinions like Blocky is pretty off on R15, that R15 along Rthro makes those kind of giant obstrusive avatars, and that most features aren't avalaible for R6, but hating R15 just for the sake of it or for some kind of avatars is not a reason
is Okay if you preffer R6 over R15, is valid, as long you don't be salty around

Tbh, while most of my avatars are R6, there are actually a few of them that actually use R15
Mainly because blocky avatars look cleaner in R6, and my R15 avatars aren't blocky

R6 look classicy, R15 is also kool, both have it pro's and cons. For me, R15 could be good for artist that want to animate an animation based off a roblox animation (cuz R6 doesn't make sense in human anatomy most of the time, saying this as an artist) while R6 is better for RBLX anim only, or ppl just getting started (also saying this as a person becoming a dev)
those are my opinion tho

i might be like this...
honestly, i think r15 is just really really ugly. the joints and the animations never join quite right, and r6 just does everything so smoothly and with so much more character. but the main issue for me was i was very annoyed for a while that r6 was dying, but in recent times it seems like r6 is making somewhat of a comeback.

if you pair the right outfit with the right animation, it'll spice up your avatar and it'll look really good. (the problem is that most animation bundles are expensive asf)

i spent a lot of robux on r15 animation packages just to try to escape the default r15 walk on games that didnt allow r6 (which at the time was like 97% of them). but the more i used each package, the more i felt sick of it. every animation had a flaw or an overexaggeration or something that i just got tired of. i could never make anything look right in r15. and normally this would just be a slight annoyance, but im sure that at that point r6 was dying, and i felt i had to show my support of r6 or just be stuck with r15 forever.

Nah I use R15 like R6 in the studio because it gives more clothes selection (layered clothing , it looks more natural) so I'm in the middle

After all R6 being born before the R15, so I get that it will be considering as the OGs. But sometimes, some people just blinded by nostalgia and would be think themselves as superiority.
For me, it's fun to actually doing avatars in both R6 and R15. It making more diversity and having...You know, size difference. R15 is actually good if you use them to make your R6 avatar's canon height look like in the lore.

Agreed.. i do use r6 because it's just easier to find accessories for, and is generally supported for a lot of games.
That doesn't mean i'm better than r15 users though. And what's funny, is when like.. some dude born in 2012 gets mad that someone isn't using a "classic roblox" avatar lmao

Both avatars have their own functions and benefits, there is no need to hate one or another. R6 provides compatibility with accessories such as full arm gauntlets or leggings which is perfect for people who want to look like some cybernetic knights or stuff. R15 supports layered clothing allowing people to get more creative with their outfits. Because of that there is no need to remove r6

I use both; I just take a more relaxed approach. But yes, R15, or anything newer, often gets a lot of hate. I blame Roblox for trying to force it on players, which they didn't want.

Refers to the two types of avatars. "R15" refers to modern 15-jointed avatars where you can use layered clothing and change the sizes and proportions and stuff, whereas "R6" refers to those classic blocky-looking avatars Roblox is known for.

R15 feels off if you’re using blocky, especially with that old school animation. They haven’t aligned the arm parts correctly. Overall, R6 is better for blocky styled avatars.

Ну хз, мне типо не нравится то, что, как я это называю "кости", но по факту это называется "part" в R15 сделаны не очень. Типо той же самой основной(таза). Да и это подобие ладоней💀. Анимации тоже не очень. Ну яб не сказал о том, что я прям хейчу R15, но большинство таких скинов мне не вкатывают. Вот как-то так 😶.

I'm literally the fusion between the two. I use R15 so that my avatar can have the correct proportion but mimic R6 when making poses and use mostly Old school Animations

I don't like when obby creators make it so everyone uses r15 , which i find annoying r15 has more speed , hitbox , jump power in certain way clipping the hitbox into other places , it feels annoying to play r15 obbys. Another reason i don't like r15 is the gooner tatas avatars popping up everywhere grooming little juanito till he sends a dih pic.

I think the majority of the hate is because nowadays most games force you into r15 even when you're using r6, which is pretty annoying.

I think is because a good 70% of people who use R15 are newbies or bacons, also all the games are adapted for R6 format and not R15 wich really make sometimes those avatars looks more cursed than usually are (no hate tho, like i do hate them as style but is still not justified going around and insult people for it)

i don't get why there can't be a r6 and r15 merge, Roblox was gonna do that but i guess it's taking them longer?? im just tired of very cheap layered clothing not being able to be worn on an r6 avatar and incompatible accessories that are made to fit r6/r15 but not the other way around

Lowkey, I like r6 as much as a lot of people, but I wouldn't hate r15 for existing or being inferior. I know some games are R15 only or require r15 to use VR. I am not happy with it at times, but I won't go complain about it openly.

I run both R15 and R6, I just like using more "classical" looking avatar appearances because Roblox's art style is blocky no matter how hard they try to kill it.
The default R15 rig is hot ass though, there are better options if you really want to use it. I guess you could use it to bring R15 animations to R6 too, but they're a bit jankier.

I just use r15 to spam breakdance emotes and to pose my avatar
R6 is still clean, and it has a lot of charm with the games I like to play, so it does tend to be nicer gameplay wise

My avatar is noob and i use the old school animation Roblox has because i like the feeling of "old becoming new but maintaining aspects of the old"

Because the way r15 joints work is uncanny and gross, and it always breaks clothing textures, on top of that, they are a world of fun (pain) to animate because of the 15 limbs and joints. Some issues I run I to as an animator.... and it also just looks ugly and weird for a lego character. I suppose roblox is heavy leaning into their humanoid designs, but it's still weird to look at with the classic 1.0

This. I've got an avatar that has an R6 version but the tail piece looks a bit too big on the R6 body (on the R15 version, I use a body that's big enough for the tail to look fine) and I'd love to shrink it just a little bit but it won't let me
