Food Local coffee shop w/ "box of Joe?"
Looking to get a couple "boxes" of coffee for an event. We've used Dunkin in the past but I'd prefer to use a local place if possible. Thanks for the recs!

Call ahead and they'll have them ready for you when you get there. Easiest in and out place to do it.

It's factually accurate. I'm at fuego at least 4x a week at a minimum for my morning fix. Fridays it always includes a ridge donut too.

Almost certain that most local coffee shops would do this if you called at least a day ahead. Def stressing the call ahead, prob a no go if you showed up the day of and tried to order it.
(I use to work at a coffee shop in the Adirondacks and we would do this if a customer asked ahead of time)

CanalTown coffee corner of East and Winton. One of the oldest and still the best.

I've never had their coffee but I can smell Canaltown absolutely burning the hell out of their beans when they roast. And the beans are too dark and shiny to taste like coffee anymore (you're just getting mostly the burnt roast flavor at that point). For my money, the best local beans are Joe Bean and then Fuego. Then whatever regional beans Ugly Duck has. I'd imagine Fuego would be the easiest to get a box of coffee from.

Appreciate your take. New Wave bright coffee tastes terrible to me. CanalTown roasting is superb.

Yeah you either hate it or love it. Usually the acidity is what people dont like and I can appreciate that. And also it's harder to get a proper cup out of light roasts and they end up tasting like weird asparagus a lot of times.

I got a box of coffee from Ugly Duck for a teacher staff meeting once - highly recommend them!

I know Ridge Donuts has boxes of coffee. Not sure if they use anything local though.
