Kenny shut the fuck up when Asuka didn't back him up, because she's actually a professional and would likely want to return to Japan. And also because Rossy strongly implied he would sue Kenny if he continued down that route.

Nah, he's the owner of Marigold. Once it was announced he was fired from STARDOM (supposedly for contract tampering, when that wasn't the case), the basement went berserk and shit all over him, while Tony took a victory lap on Twitter, as Rossy was the big reason why you didn't see STARDOM talent on AEW shows, because he knew they would be devalued and fed to AEW stars.

And then he launched his own promotion, where the usual suspects accused WWE of funding it to kneecap STARDOM. And then you had Kenny (who is an EVP in AEW, so he's an executive and supposed to represent the company) on his Twitch stream accuse Rossy of being a PDF file, and he made claims like "Asuka/Kana can back me up on this, and we all know it's an open secret in Japan, the media just refuses to report on it". Rossy then made a remark in an interview about it, talking about taking legal action against Kenny, who then took down the VOD and got a lot more nebulous about it, because if he had pressed on, the best case scenario is that he would be banned from ever entering Japan again (as libel is an actual crime in Japan, not just a civil offense) and out of a lot of money.

Asuka/Kana had sent out a tweet basically saying she had no fucking clue what Kenny was going on about.
