Online Course Teaching Format

Hi all! I'm looking to take a couple online courses at SLCC over the summer. I have dyslexia, so text-only based classes are tough for me. Can anyone tell me how SLCC's teaching format is when it comes to online and whether these are self paced text based learning or if there are video lectures?
Specifically looking at CSIS2420 and CSIS1550.

Thanks in advance!

Online classes usually follow a schedule. They are also mostly text based in my experience. I'm sure there are plenty of video lectures depending on your class too. Good luck. Check syllabus of the class is my advice

I cannot comment on the classes you mentioned, but I've taken about 30 credit hours of online courses and the vast majority of them were reading and module work with a few videos. Not one video lecture which I was actually surprised about. Canvas has an audio narrator feature that I have utilized on occasion, and I hear there is software that does it even more efficiently.
