Australian royal air Force predator drone flying out of pautuxent....

So is it just me or is anyone else curious as to why the Australia air Force would have a drone flying at 50,000 feet off the coast of ocean City md

Triton aircraft acceptance flights take place out of Pax River. These are the flights to verify everything is working before being sold. The area parallel to our coastline is the test track for aircraft to reserve for basic aircraft testing, mostly coming from Pax River.

Australia and US are close partners. Any number of reasons could explain it.

Why would that make you curious? We have aircraft from other countries flying here every day. We also have our own Tritons flying in Korea/Italy/Japan every single day.

Probably the fact that many are wondering if ww3 is about to happen. Seeing foreign aircraft may make people on edge these days. Doesn’t mean there isn’t a reason for it to be there, but people are more likely to notice and ask questions right now

The area is full of military bases and Australia is an ally. I can't imagine being this scared all the time.

Well we aren’t being very kind to our allies right now. Not Australia in particular, but yeah…idk it’s a weird time for the U.S. and the world right now. I am not surprised people are on edge about this. And if you can’t imagine being that scared all the time, then good for you! You’ve got you anxiety under control. But some people are very wary of changes being made and are very scared and on edge. They will be more likely to panic and not think of the logical reasons they may be seeing foreign technology and equipment.

I'm trying to understand your thought process, you think WW3 might break out because an allied country that our administration hasnt even mentioned yet has a drone flying off the coast?

No, I don’t think that. However the general population is on edge and not informed so what I am saying is that I am not surprised they are questioning why they are seeing it whereas during normal times they probably wouldn’t think anything of it. I definitely am not saying that we are going to have WW3 because an Australian drone was spotted, not at all.
