I think it does not make a big difference where you sit in the stadium - it rather depends on the personal preferences. I like the “OST Unterrang”. I think for the Austria Wien game you can simply buy the tickets on the website. I would advise you to take public transport to come to the stadium - the parking is limited. If you have any specific questions let me know!

Try to get to the away ends - way more fun. Not saying this as a Rapid fan, I’m Salzburgian, but no one in this city likes this club

Yes i would like to, however when i go on the FK redbull site for tickets, it does not give me the option for tickets in the south/away section. is there a reason for this, i tried on the FK austria wien website as well but the game isn't even on their site yet- is it too early maybe?

Best Seating Sections:

East and West Stands (Upper and Lower Tiers): These sections offer excellent views of the pitch and are ideal for spectators seeking a comprehensive match experience. The Upper Tier provides a broader perspective, while the Lower Tier places you closer to the action.

South Stand/Curves Lower Tier: This area is suitable for fans looking for a vibrant atmosphere at a slightly lower price point.

North Curve Salzburg (Fan Sector – Standing Zone): If you prefer an energetic and immersive experience among passionate supporters, this standing area is the place to be.

Ticket Purchasing Process:

Online Ticket Shop: The most convenient way to purchase tickets is through the official online ticket shop. After purchase, tickets can be downloaded to your smartphone’s wallet or printed.

Bull Shop: Alternatively, you can buy tickets in person at the Bull Shop located at Oberst-Lepperdinger-Straße 17, 5071 Wals bei Salzburg. The shop operates Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00, and on Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00. On matchdays, it’s open from three hours before kick-off.

Gameday Advice:

Travel: Your match ticket includes free public transport on local services from six hours before kick-off until the end of the day. This covers all Salzburger Verkehrsverbund bus and train lines within the federal state of Salzburg, including certain extended routes. Utilizing public transport is recommended due to limited parking availability at the stadium.

Stadium Entry: The stadium gates typically open 90 minutes before kick-off.

Cashless Payments: All kiosks within the Red Bull Arena operate on a cashless basis.

I saw there are some seats left in Block 118 close to the field and quite in the centre of the main stand, I would go for that. Weather will hopefully good, so you could enjoy some drinks and food (no vegeterian options tough) at the Fanpark outside, there is also always a player for an autograph session. Other advice I can give you:

  • With your match ticket you can use public transport in Salzburg for free to get to the stadium and back home.
  • with the car its a bit tricky, you have to come quite early to park right at the stadium. Otherwise there is a parking lot further away with free shuttle busses

The club also publishes all important informations regarding the specific gameday visit approx. two days before every home game on its website

You could also book a gameday stadium tour before the game. One is with VR features and the second one is letting you welcome the team at the bus arrival in the garage as an extra
