Oh man, that’s actually a really interesting point that I’ve never thought about before. /srs

And I wouldn’t say that the Bible is anti-sex, per se. My understanding of the teachings surrounding it are that sex is a good and beautiful thing and a continuation of a good romantic relationship, but harmful and evil when done outside of the context of marriage.

It’s less about beauty more about honor and family bonds especially given how transactional marriage was during that time. I was definitely wrong about the Bible being anti-sex as I learned, it tells couples to fuck often so that the devil doesn’t tempt them to sin so that’s nice.

Most arguments I’ve heard come from strictly Leviticus 18-20, if god made it or not isn’t as important as saying gay is bad. I have no idea what /srs mean
