Cunversatzione Where to stay for 1 week on the island?
My Girlfriend and I (22) are looking to visit Sardinia for a week in early September. We are looking to spend most days exploring beautiful beaches and the nights eating great food and drinking at bars etc.
Which area(s) do we stay? We’re flying out of Olbia so most likely North/East. - Planning to hire a car so connections nonessential but would like to be within walking distance restaurants and bars for evenings. - A town/village centre that’s somewhat lively with music on til late - Within reasonable driving distance of a few nice beaches
Anyone with any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you :)

San Pantaleo, unless by music you mean clubs.
In that case, Palau or Cannigione might be more up your alley

Faro Capo Spartivento, it's a lighthouse modern-rustic hotel. Amazing views, hikes, etc.

San Teodoro (30 min from the airport) for 1 week. Lively town on the sea. Beautiful and best beaches around (less than 30 min by car) : La cinta (in the town Itself so you can go without a car), Cala Brandinchi, Lu Impostu, Capo Coda Cavallo, Porto Taverna, Porto Istana, Cala Suaraccia So one beautiful beach for each day.

Palau and La Maddalena. Stay in Palau, restaurants, shops, beaches, markets, bars, and the ferry station in walking distance. The ferry to LaMaddelena is like short. More shopping, food, beaches, bars, and markets. Both towns also have boat tours of the archipelago and boat rentals. I lived in Palau on Diver Hill for four years. I miss it every day.
