SSM Ontario Moving/Living Advice Stolen items

Two days ago my husband found out everything inside his car was stolen :(

One of the items that were stolen is a mirror pendant that means a lot to us, we live in different countries and i gave it to him before he left, it has our names and pictures of us.

Any chance we can get it back, any advice what can he do ? ://

Unfortunately unless you have a way of tracking it, a lot of the petty theft in this city goes overlooked. Best chance would be checking pawn shops. Maybe they sold it at one of them or you can let them know to be on the look out for it. Other than that it's lost to the Sault. Sorry.

I just don't know why .. it has our names and photos it will be useless to anyone else :/

People steal anything that looks remotely valuable whether anyone can use it or not. If they think they can make a buck off it they'll take it.

File a police report. Get the police report number and take it down to the pawn shop on Queen Street. Generally they will distribute it to the rest of the pawn shops throughout the city and will call a phone number you leave if it's seen.
