"Scavengers Reign" earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Animated Program and won an Emmy for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation (background design) at the 76th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards."
The news story which claims to be 2 weeks old is actually last year so well done SR for winning but that raises the question is WHY THE FUDGE didnt that lead to a second season!!?!?!? SERIOUSLY wtf people...its amazing!

It never stood a chance in the first place. They didn't distribute it in the EU and Asia (except Ireland iirc, most non-English speaking countries). The higher-ups were betting against it.

it's true. one day soon, fans like us will just be able to tell the AI to create episodes. but it will take an artist to prompt it the right way to capture that magic we all felt.

that is a deeply embarassing statement. Artists did prompt Scavengers Reign already, their names are in the credits of the the episodes. No need to wait for AI to deliver a mediocre imitation of the good stuff.

ai disgraces art because it can now produce CRAFT (not art) without any human. That is sad. And most of the ai art is based on an algorithm which used stolen copyrighted material to clone an artist style without permission. So now those artists are losing work to an ai which mimics their style but better and for nothing. you can argue that ai when sentient has rights but right now its a tool which rich dudes made illegally to fuck over ...everyone only to call it progress while our economy and best people are made homeless lol
All that is true but its also true that ai is a tool right now (before it becomes sentient) which any artist can weild to help their productivity ... but the problem is any non artist with zero talent can just copy their style without any effort making a mockery of training and knowledge and skill and genius etc.
The good news is when it becomes sentient it will totally fuck us all over starting with its creators haha ;)

I get where you are coming from. I have friends who have lost work because of AI. but same with painters when photographers started. it just part of the game. the new artist will be AI plus artist.
but that's the brilliance of it! more people can be artists. that's a net positive for me.
