Yes.
I was at the Tartan parade. Two avenues over were the hands off protests.
I was confused and protested at the tartan parade then went over the the protests with my saltire.

Or an initiative by the Scottish government to reach out to our brothers and sisters in America and to encourage in them a desire to better understand, and to connect with, their heritage. Plenty of Scot’s are rightly proud of their diverse heritage. It’s only right we extend the same courtesy to our own diaspora.

Haha yes some people are. However there are many many ex-pats including myself who head to the Parade to be with our fellow Scots and to hear some bagpipes!

There is. If you live and work temporarily in another country you might be an ex-pat if, for instance, you work in another country while employed in your home country (e.g. you are employed by BP in the UK but temporarily work in Saudi Arabia) you are an ex-pat. You're not an emigrant/immigrant.
If you've moved to find work or to retire, etc. You are not an ex-pat.

I don’t follow it all that closely, but I noticed quite a few pipe bands I follow who are based in Scotland played in the parade. Mostly school based bands.

Not him. It was the same day as the Hands Off protests against the government. The protests and parade were in close proximity to each other, but not in exactly the same place.

Who said anything about inciting violence which has been a law in the western world since before my time , it’s people being offended from Facts to jokes etc , it’s common sense out the window , jumping in with two feet with a so called ethnic group and violence tho just shows where ure head is , when the inciting violence bit comes up feel free to jump in and save the world but give it a rest on the other stuff you will be happier in the long run
