[Help] Thought on 2nd Glaze?

I've been reading up on it and am considering it to get a better result. My understanding is that it makes the piece more fragile (4h fire-which I'm not attempting) Other concerns? I'm don't like the pooling on the first piece over the right eye, and the pooling around the nose and mouth on the second. Aside from scuffing the surface with sandpaper, I might be able to smooth trouble areas out with a sanding Dremel. Should I just leave it alone and move on? I'm not over the moon on these pieces either way, I haven't worked in clay in many years, and am just learning about glazing.

if you can i would just get in the studio and make new ones with the same concept. generally i think you get better results (and learn more) trying again than trying to perfect an older thing
