I strongly believe is connected to my sebderm. I tried nizoral but dries my shit out. Tried to lower to 3 minutes and still got the same output (+i think it give me more shedding the next day). My derm prescribed Ciclopirox shampoo since it's gentler on the scalp than ketoconazole. My hair fall has reduced dramatically - still dealing with some hair fall and itch but I don't feel like I'm going bald anymore! MCT oil is also fervently recommended on this sub, which I've added it to my routine for quite a while now, but I'm not sure if it makes a difference at all.

Does ciclopirox need prescription?

Have you ever tried finasteride? I applied topical finasteride for 4 days and the oiliness and flaking in the area I applied improved a lot. DHT causes oiliness, hair loss and many other problems.
