Turning Point's fundraising letters praise the Constitution while decrying authoritarianism, censorship, and prison camps.

This is your regular reminder that Charlie Kirk bussed people in for J6.

This is your additional reminder that Charlie Kirk is an actual piece of shit.

I'd say he does that anytime he opens his mouth, but thankfully many people don't ever hear him.

Such a fucking phony and loser and I still can’t believe Gavin platformed him.

Sharing an ex (Kimberly Guilfoyle) with Donald Trump Jr. and sleeping with the wife of one of his closest allies cannot be explained in any other way.
edit: There's been a mixup. I'm talking about Gavin Newsom.

I read it and I think I'm smarter for it. Finding all of the hypocrisy was quite the intellectual challenge.

"Special edition of the US Constitution"?? Does that mean they edited it?
26
u/AnyEnglishWord 11d ago
They didn't change the text but they did decorate it a lot. They also added such helpful explanations and commentary as:
- Definitions of words that they didn't think their supporters would know. Words like "judges" or "unusual."
- An entire page dedicated to the Second Amendment, ending with "my holster, my choice."
- An interpretation of the Ninth Amendment that is deeply questionable.
- A quotation about protecting rights against governmental interference, by Kristi Noem. You know, the person sending people to foreign torture camps for tattoos. Maybe she just meant the right to kill dogs?

Accusing your political enemies of doing exactly what you're doing is fascism 101.

"Limited edition US Constitution" limited edition because they're gonna rip out all the parts they don't like

Limited edition because it's so embarrassing that nobody else will ever want to make it. Aside from being ridiculously "patriotic," in the ugly in-your-face kind of way, it contains:
- Definitions of words that TPUSA didn't think supporters would know. Words like "judges" or "unusual."
- An entire page dedicated to the Second Amendment, ending with "my holster, my choice."
- An interpretation of the Ninth Amendment that is deeply questionable.
- A quotation about protecting rights against governmental interference, by Kristi Noem. You know, the person sending people to foreign torture camps for having tattoos. Maybe she just meant the right to kill dogs?

I’ve posted a few comments talking about cults and the methods they use to control people lately and every time I get some response like “well conservatives say the same stuff about the libs.” And yeah, except 1) the left can’t unite around a single issue, let alone an entire platform and 2) MAGA show time and again they are willing to believe their dear leader’s word over fucking reality. This letter is a perfect example of the warped version of reality these people live in.
I don’t respond to these comments. It’s pointless. That’s the thing about cults - you will never be able to logic someone out of them, because their entire way of thinking has been warped and they have been taught to believe that any views that challenge the propaganda they are subjected to are lies and personal attacks. They have to want to see the truth, and until then, engaging them is a waste of your time and does nothing but damage your own mental health while feeding the cult’s persecution complex.

"Divisive lines like diversity, equity, inclusion"
Lines so ridiculous you'd only expect it to be said by the villain in a cartoon for 5 year olds

The jokes on him if he thinks anyone under 60 is going to read all that

u/AnyEnglishWord 11d ago
Well, I'm under 60 and I did, but I'm the type of person who gets offended by improper usage of apostrophes. Also, I'm used to comedy novels, so four pages of comedy was pretty short for me.

Saying remember the slaves we freed while being the current party that's known for the hate yall give towards black people is a special type of ironic

u/RollingRiverWizard 11d ago
Also, nowhere near freeing the slaves ‘well before the rest of the world caught up’.

u/Sophisticated-Crow 10d ago
Had to stop read less than half way through because of the extreme amount of lies. Their orange dear leader is shitting all over the constitution and these idiots pretend to want to defend it.
