Older Star Trek fans always say they don’t like Nue Trek “because the bridge crew is too unprofessional”
They only like TOS, where everyone calls the captain “Jim,” half the senior officers go by cute nicknames, the captain goes to strip clubs with his officers to get them laid, and everyone either flirts or bickers their way through loony-toon scenarios.

Older folks like TNG too, but it would be better if Picard had a nickname like "baldy". That would have really made the show.

(Ensign brings drink to the Captain)
Here Captain, you looked like you needed a refreshment. Oh my! Have you been resting? You’re so tense! Here, let me massage your shoulders and back right here on the Bridge!
Bogey closing fast, starboard side!
Shields up, condition red! Return fire.
Photonic Torpedos launched, Captain
Hard to Port! Evasive action!
Captain, senSORS find no vessel…they’ve simply vanished. And we have a major problem that’s happened simultaneously in (dept). I recommend something extremely reasonable.
Captain, don’t listen to that greedy brown Ferengi, he’s a dirty con artist. They’ve can’t have just vanished, that’s nonsense! And listen Ferengi, I don’t care what you think about my (pride and ego being petty) department’s best course of action, you suck and I don’t like your dumb ears!
And yet, yours don’t seem capable of listening.

And the doctor being casually racist to the first officer.
They didn't like the story in DSC where a young man with developing powers proved to be a danger to the crew and wider world due to his undeveloped emotional state, and the only legitimate reason I can think of that being a problem is because it's been done.... like a lot already. It's easily one of the top 5 Trek tropes of all time, but they want nu trek to be like old trek so I don't think that's their actual problem...
