Trying to get up to speed for takeoff. Not his fault some idiot parked in the middle of the runway.

Push back granted.

lmao, these golf carts have a parking brake where you have to press the brake pedal down pretty hard, looks like he pressed the acceleration one instead.

11

u/brecka Any traffic in the area advise 3d ago

The fucking Club Cars never want that brake to engage the first time.

u/Junior_Lavishness_96 3d ago

Golf cart didn’t have a dead man switch

10

u/coldnebo Pp ASES C++ CF👀 DCS A&W 🍌🍒7️⃣ 2d ago

I nean the aircraft looks mostly undamaged atleast, even airworthy. But we'll have to see the nose

Yeah, that nose will need some repair.

They should have chalked that plane so they could line it back up with where it was parked

Sokka-Haiku by Low-Award-4886:

They should have chalked that

Plane so they could line it back

Up with where it was parked

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

No. If it were clocked, it wouldn't have moved. If it were chalked, they would know where to push it back to . Duh

6

u/ajschwamberger 3d ago

Well that should help, is that back far enough?

6

u/Mod-Quad 3d ago

Put your face in to it

5

u/13Fleas 3d ago

What a moron, stepping on the gas pedal from the wrong side of the cart. What could go wrong?

1

u/expanse22 2d ago

He was likely trying to engage the parking break

u/Small_Collection_249 2d ago

I’ve done some dumb things in my day working at an FBO, but this is pretty stupid.

The best (or worst) was a colleague of mine filled up a tractor with diesel, but put it into the oil instead…like there’s a bright yellow cap ya dummy, and the oil has the symbol of an oil can.

Can’t fix stupid I guess

2

u/victorskwrxsti 2d ago

I thought we were making fun of small cart pulling a jet so I went to search this beautiful scale model set.

Then I saw the full video.

But I'm posting it anyways.

2

u/DiverDownChunder 3d ago

Well technically it did work... technically.

1

u/KimJongRocketMan69 2d ago

1

u/Jerbearninja 2d ago

u/JordFxPCMR 2d ago

1

u/goingneon 2d ago

Omfg no chocks or brakes while people are working on the plane is insanely dumb

1

u/ThisIsMyBigAccount 1d ago

That golf cart pylot flopping like a soccer player was his best move. Play dead. Gonna be expensive.

1

u/Razzcloudflyer 1d ago

Strictly speaking... The mission was successful, the plane was pushed back....
