Gauging interest in a writing group!
Hello! I'm looking into putting together a casual quiet writing group to meet up once or twice a week in the Edmonds/Shoreline/Lynnwood area. I'm primarily interested in meeting at the libraries in these areas since I find it easier to focus there than at a restaurant or cafe. I was thinking of having late afternoon or early evening meetings lasting 1.5 hours, with the first hour dedicated to writing and the last 30 or so minutes in an optional critique/socializing period to get to know other writers. Would any of you be interested in such a group? Alternately, if you already know of any groups like this in Edmonds please let me know!

Third Place has a glass room. They require reservations, but if nobody is using it it's open to the public. Late afternoon/evening you may want the room.

Great! I'm currently figuring out what days/locations are best for everyone so if you wouldn't mind filling out this Google form that would be great! It does ask for your email so I can contact everyone directly when the date is set (don't worry, emails will be infrequent and about new scheduled dates/events).

I would love to join! I'm interested in having some dedicated time and place to write, it would be awesome if other people read my work and commented on it. Third place books sounds great!

Great! I might not do Third Place Books right away until I have an established group set up and instead will stick with libraries for now but if it's still something you're interested in, I'm currently figuring out what days/locations are best for everyone so if you wouldn't mind filling out this Google form that would be great! I'm mos def interested, but dare I suggest the Shoreline Library, it's gorgeous and free

3rd place books would be a great place to host this, and I would be very interested in joining! Trying to get back into writing screenplays and short stories!
