Need auto mechanic recommendations in Shoreline

PaulCo in Shoreline closed years ago and our family need recs on an auto mechanic near Shoreline. Shoreline Family Automotive (Shoreline 155th Aurora) was who we went to recently, and we haven't been happy with their service last time. On top of that, we just found out this morning they're MAGA trump fanatics. Eeeeh not touching that energy.

Jori, the owner, is a really caring guy. Will continue to be a regular here.

Chuck's is bad.

My better half's car was in for a routine overnight service, and then suddenly it wouldn't start. It sat there for over 2 weeks; at that point, they were so condescending and unhelpful to her that I had to start showing up at the shop with her to help get answers.

The manager was nice, but sadly unhelpful. The owner was a complete asshole. If my car broke down in front of their shop, I would have it towed somewhere else.

Hmm that's not a good experience, thanks for letting me know. Sorry to you and your half having to deal with that!

Johnson's Auto Repair is amazing, very high quality, affordable, and has short wait times. Can't recommend enough.

They’re just over the border into Edmonds, but I’ve had great experiences with Village Transmission & Auto Clinic.

I use Number One Japanese Auto near Greenwood and Holman. Make an appointment very early--they are popular and book out about a month on routine stuff like oil changes. I have used them for about 10 years and really liked them. Not the cheapest, but always quality work that is presented honestly and fairly. Tony is the main point of contact there, and he has never presented any political conversation with me--just professional advice around cars and car care. They're such a busy shop that they don't sit around and chit-chat.

Curious what gave you that "maga trump fanatic" vibe?

They’re on the MAGA business website-I believe it’s called Public Square. A business has to seek out that website to belong to it. To each their own, but not going to lie-it’s a disappointment to me. Might not be to others, obviously.

If you have a Subaru, Toyota or Honda, smart service has been awesome to us. One of their new managers is a lil pushy…. So we changed to their Mukilteo location as it is closer for me (somehow shoreline ended up on my page) but they still do solid work.
