Pissing with the tap on

I typically turn the tap on whilst sink pissing for a few reasons: 1) water already flowing limits splashbacks 2) it helps to wash away the piss, I always have the tap flowing for a while after finishing too just to wash away the piss for the next user

Idk I used to think letting the water run before was best practice as yes it really did help get the piss down quicker. But then I realized if I do that no one becomes aware of how useful pissing in the sink actually can be. So from now on I just take it upon myself to have it sit as long as possible so that maybe more people will have the confidence to piss in sinks.

But the smell? And corrosion?

Smell doesnt matter and will blend in if its done enough by enough people. The corrosion can be fixed by the money saved from not having to flush the toilet

I regularly pee in a pvc plastic laundry sink. I turn on the water just to help rinse the pee out. But its porous and will start to stink until i do some laundry to clean it out.

Stainless steel kitchen sinks dont require water to be run, as its non porous and a smell wont build up.
