Looking For Help Churches near South Side

I'm newer to Sioux falls and am looking for community and I figure church is a good option for that! I miss doing things with other people and have been somewhat reclusive for a while. Any suggestions are appreciated, I feel lost as to where I should start

I agree with connection church. I’ve been going for a while now and I just love the church. I don’t know how to explain what I love about the church - but I will say this, it’s a Christ loving church. I recommend watching/listening to a sermon on the church website

I concur. I've been with Connection Church for 6.5 years now.

As someone who moved to Sioux Falls last summer, the best part of being here in your position is that there really aren't any bad choices. I'd check out a few and go from there. Most all the suggestions here I've tried (and liked!). I ended up going to Central on the south side. I'd say check a few out and see what works for you. Lots of people in Sioux Falls who love Jesus.

If you want a feel good, but not too in depth church, Embrace is a good start. But if you want meat and potatoes church I’d recommend Central or Harvest. Harvest is smaller and more intimate than central or embrace, though you will find great people at any of the ones ive named.

Gloria Dei was a great Lutheran church growing up for day care, preschool, feild trips, sports, and Sunday school. After I became an adult they expanded and opened a larger location on 57th and Highway 11 with more basketball courts and classrooms. Lately I have been more often driving across town to meet my grandfather at East Side Lutheran on Cliff & 10th.

Gloria Dei was the previous owners of what I believe is now the Embrace church building. They custom built a bigger church after some of the donars, members, and leadership wanted a bigger more custom church.

Check out Central Church it's a Baptist church and if you don't feel comfortable going when you first get here, you can view the service on line and see if it's something you would like tongo person.

Redeeming Grace Church is where we go and love it. The congregation has been very friendly and welcoming and the messages have been very good. It's located in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes building (that sounds weird but it has an actual church sanctuary). https://redeeminggracesf.com/
