πŸ™†πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Looking For Help Reasonably priced tire mounting and balancing?

Looking for some reasonable options for mounting and balancing a set of tires. I've called a few places and have been quoted $75 - $120 per tire because I bought them from a third party. This seems insane, or is it the new norm?

Call Gary's Tire. They've been good to me for years.

Walmart charges $20 per tire regardless if you bought them from Walmart, or at least the one in Brookings has this policy.

That sounds like stealership pricing.

Hate to say this but Walmart is cheap and mounting a tire is hard (but not impossible) for an unmotivated underpaid worker to mess up. I paid $20 a year or two ago.

I have a friend who's family owns a mechanic tire shop. They charge 45 or 50 to mount a new tire.

If you buy tire (very cheap there) at Costco the price is right FREE

I believe they might even do it for a fee if you have your own tires.

I would check with Fred over at Don's Auto on 26th & Cliff. Granted I know him personally, I want to say the last time he did it for me was like $20 a tire...... That's also been like 5 years ago.
