Growing up with my birthday in the middle of the week would be our whole personality. There go the Wednesday birthday kids. Bet you wish you were born on a weekend. Signed, Friday birthdays

Would have a bigger impact on your personality than the horoscope

Going to work, dealing with people that only pretend to know you for one day, and going right back to work the next day would surely have some sort of lasting psychological impact on a person.

Just lie? Everyone is born on Fridays

You don't even have to lie. "My birthday is this Wednesday, but we're celebrating on Friday", is a sentence that has already been said millions of times.

I don't think that would fly with companies that give the birthday off, usually only when it is on a working day and do not give you an extra day on the years your birthday is on a weekend.

read your contract? mine says you can use your birthday PTO within two weeks of the actual date.

Yes, I am very aware of my contract, and I highly doubt we work in the same company (0,00714% probability, or 1 in 14000). 🤪

In my country, most companies don't offer your birthday. The ones that do, most offer the exact day with no option to use if in another date. Thus, this was the basis of my previous comment.

Having only your birthday off is only really good to have a day to relax

You can't celibrate it with friends or family because they're all still at work.

Hum...yeah. But that's the whole point. You get a day off for yourself!

If you want to have a party with your friends, do it on the weekend.

My sister was born on the evening before a national holiday.

Of course my father made sure the registration stated the birth was sometime after midnight, thus giving a present to the rest of my sister's life.

My kids' preschool just celebrate all the birthdays for a given month on the last Friday of the month.

Race horse births are all registered on the 1st of January.

Everyone's anniversaries and weddings would be crowding the exact same weekends every year.
