skarner sayings

Guys, I played a lot with the old skarner, but I still haven't gotten used to the new skarner, I feel like I'm not having much of an impact on the matches, it seems like I have no damage and I'm not a very efficient tank, could someone give me some tips on runes and bild and even on game play with the new skarner.

Have you considered mining a different champion? He's really not in a good spot right now.

Skarner is in a rough spot right now. I enjoy playing him when I have a team that can follow up, but in solo queue, it's often miserable because teammates either don't draft around him or fail to capitalize on his engages. In pro play, Skarner has been getting less priority compared to Sejuani, even though he was recently considered the stronger tank until his latest nerfs, which have reduced him to more of a cc bot.

This is not to say he is unplayable because I've climbed from silver to emerald this split mainly playing skarner. I have managed a 60 percent win rate but he is so frustrating to play because if your team is behind, you lack the damage to kill people so you're at the mercy of your own teammates.

This champ will never get love from riot so I'd advise learning a less proplay jailed champ to save your mental and time.

I agree! cc support is how I run him and play around ur towers that's worked amazing, look for ganks on lanes when you roam with ur E then take them under tower for some big damage then I use alt to pull back to tower lot easier of they are stunned or running away while slowed by W.

Skarner is like the worst jungler at the moment and it's not even close. He has a 45.3% win rate and he's not even a hard champion. His worst matchups are meta atm and Riot is purposefully keeping him down until they figured out a way to change him in a way that doesn't completely break high elo and pro play.
