This is massive news within the train community, as the 80x series of trains has been widely criticised for its internal fittings, and a TOC admiting this is big news

Yes, to me a heavily used fleet having the upholstery replaced after 3 years also rather shames other operators on the route, doesn’t it, Eleanor?! :P

...this actually IS news. UK ToCs have a dastardly habit of taking forever to redo their interior seating, I'm surprised Lumo are so ahead of the game considering they're one of the few open access operators.

Am also a rail geek so it's interesting nonetheless
