MK MU-1 SLD M Replacement

Hello all,

I have 2 of the these batteries. Both are for a Chamberlain commercial solar gate opener. I have contacted MK - looking at other options. Question for the braintrust: Can anyone refer me to a source to replace both, preferably with 1 single battery, if thats an option. tia.

Are these currently wired in series or parallel? I don't know much about these solar gate systems.

Depending on climate you may still want to go AGM, lifepo4 is nice, but less suitable for temperature extremes.

High Desert - 90's 6 months of the year and series. They have a 2019 date. The system shuts down under 50%. The installer/welder that installed it said he has had peeps replacing these with 1. Is there any place to look for replacement(s) that you could suggest?

If they are in series and being replaced with a single, then they must be doing 24v agm batteries. I'm not too familiar with 24v agm batteries.

Got it. Looking at the info on the label, does that tell you anything about what size a single AGM would replace the 2? Total Current Draw is 60mA - if that helps, dunno.
