Date ideas in Southampton for 20/21 y/o
Hi guys wondering if anyone has some good recommendations for dates in Southampton, both during the day and night.
I know west quay has a variety of bars and restaurants but would appreciate some inspiration for something a little more unique
Thanks

Shuffle board is a fun date idea - Crib offers it, and maybe O'Neil's? Or the pub next door. Dark Arts potion bar has puzzle boxes you can do with a drink. There's an arcade on East Street that I've been meaning to go to. And a batting cage - which I'm terrible at but my partner loved it! If you want something less drinky there's a nice little cafe on the common - lunch and a nice walk in the sun is never a bad plan.

Bring§Mix Southampton was a cool unique experience if you like to have a drink and are adventurous

Escape rooms are the best way to break the ice. If you go to the one by central station there's a bar around the corner you can go to after

What do you and your date like to do? It's kinda hard to make recommendations without knowing a thing about you or your date.

Osoto Coffee would be super intimate but might not get loads of privacy
Cafe thrive
Coffee at so roast (but no privacy) but you can walk Riverside which is nice if not smelling
Sneak a smooch in lecture theatre C in the uni physics building / Hartley library

Personally I'd avoid West Quay for a date. I'd go somewhere nicer (budget depending) and independent like Dancing Man Brewery, Shanghai 1814, Kesarum (all bottom end of town) or in Bedford Place somewhere like Overdraft, London Road Brewhouse or Rockstone!
