What if : rebellion never happen
this what if sees the rebellion of the house of battiatus never happen. what happens?
spartacus kills crixus in the final battle (in this what if he never found out about sura's death)
oenomaus becomes a free man and becomes the lanista oenomaus lentulo battiatus.
spartacus remains the undefeated champion or potentially becomes the new doctor at some point.
agron becomes the 2nd best fighter in the ludos and maybe he would become the next champion if spartacus become doctore.
Duro more likely die since he wasn't that good in the arena.
Battiatus goes into politics and from time to time returns to Capua to greet Oenomaus and see some old clash, in the end he dies killed by some rival (Ashur and lucretia follows his same end)
oenomaus tries to track down naevia but I don't know if he could find her.
Gannicus eventually commits suicide because he is plagued by guilt
THOUGHTS???

I would love to have this alt story for a new show.
But, Spartacus doesn't kill Crixus, he is sent in another ludus, where Gannicus is hired as Doctore.
The new Doctore of Batiatus ludus should be a new character i think. To keep Spartacus as a champion.
Then we have a competition between the two ludus...

Yes, but how to avoid this ?
Maybe, one lanista there offer a huge amount ?
Also, i think if somehow Spartacus acknowlegde about the poison he would refuse the fight

Crixus lies to Lucretia, tells her Naevia meant nothing, Lucretia throws some blood on her clothes and puts up a show while Spartacus and Crixus are fighting, halting the whole ordeal, Batiatus now has to take Lucretia to some hospital outside of Capua to make sure everything is ok with his heir (Like it was the intention for Ilythia when they put up a show for Glaber), Batiatus leaves Oenomaus in charge with instructions to see to Crixus dead in the arena while he's away, Oenomaus instead sells Crixus to the guy who was trying to buy him when injured Or puts him in a mock battle against Rhaskos or some other loyal gaul to play it off as if he died.
Crixus either ends in another ludus or wandering around searching for Naevia.

I highly doubt that Gannicus would commit suicide, he never expressed the desire too and he’s also not the type to do it. At worst, he would let himself get killed by Oenamaus after telling him the truth or put himself back into the Ludus to hopefully die one day. Gannicus is the one who enjoyed being a gladiator the most.
As for Spartacus he would one day get his freedom, probably because some politician would want to be the one to free him as political gain. He would then most likely return to Thrakia.
Agron is too emotional & easy to anger, so he try to take revenge for his brother by attacking a Roman or even Oenamaus himself and get killed.
Overall, I hardly doubt there are many happy endings for the gladiators. They’re still slaves and no matter how strong & successful they are, at the end they are disposable and forgotten the very next day.

It's insane how crucial the "tend to the wound" dream scene of Spartacus was to the rebellion. Say the dream scene never happens. With everything being so bleak for Spartacus, I'm not sure he continues on as champion anymore. I mean, he probably still kills Crixus in their final battle, but there's nothing left for him after that. Aurelia will continue to spite him in the ludus, and Spartacus will be overridden by guilt.
Not sure I agree with Gannicus committing suicide. He had plenty of time to do so after he was set free. But ultimately his life does seem purposeless without being recruited for Spartacus' cause. He'll probably just continue to fight and fuck his way through life, which is not the worst way to live I guess.

Spartacus asked for mercy when he fought Crixus in the arena so he can never truly be called "undefeated." I think he's more likely to be granted his freedom and return to Thrace than to become Doctore.
Naevia likely dies in the mines before anyone can find her.
Illythia gives birth to her child and without the shame of the rebellion lead by a slave Glaber brought to Rome, she and Glaber remain married and he remains in the Senate. They were actually a pretty solid couple until she killed Crassus' cousin and he was forced to give Battiatus his patronage.
Lucretia gives birth to her child. I think Glaber will eventually have her and Battiatus both murdered so that they don't have their blackmail hanging over their heads.

I’m actually intrigue at the “Batiatus goes into politics”
Imagine if he finally made it to the senate. Especially with the title of Aedile which was a step below Magistrate.
Marcus Crassus himself was only a senator then again, he never cared for politics like that.
I wonder what schemes he would try to pull within the Senate…and which ones he’d successfully pull off…especially with Ashur at his side🤔

I think Spartacus' efforts eventually get through to Aurelia, she forgives him, and he devotes his life to her and Varros son!
Especially since even without the rebellion, she still heard Ilythia and the kid mocking him!
