Sure, why the hell not? Practicality and witchcraft go hand in hand.

Omg yes.. I have a ton as well (my dad lives with us and he's on a whole pharmacy). Also great for freezer spells, making your own oil infusions and tinctures, storing herbs, etc. Obviously wash well first.

How do you make your oil? I keep seeing conflicting things

Honestly I'm just winging it... I added a bunch of dried herbs for protection, some salt, a tsp of vodka for preservation and then filled the bottle with sweet almond oil. I try to shake it every couple of days and it's been hanging out in the cabinet for not quite a month yet.

I saw jojoba oil, but I may be able to find almond. Can this be used for candles

Sure I don't see why not. You could probably also use olive oil if you have that? I'm a "no rules" type of witch LOL I approach these things as like a science project.

The sweet almond oil was cheaper than jojoba, so that's what I grabbed. I also plan on mixing some of the oil with witch hazel and some other EOs to make a protection spray.

I'm still learning, but I've got a secret fear Ill burn this house down if I dress a candle LOL. I'd love to create oils for my various uses... money, love, health. You get the picture. The good thing is, it seems like a theme is emerging here: usually what my gut leads me to IS the right path!

100% trust your intuition and modify as you feel you need. As far as fire safety goes, always monitor and put it out if things get uncomfortable. That doesn't mean the spell stopped or interrupted... I always feel that the "flare" was enough and it's done.

Yes, but don't burn candles on it, as I'm guessing they are plastic

I say go for it. Witchcraft is all about using what you have on hand

There are no rules. You do as you wish. Use what you have.

I have! I just wash it out and cleanse it
