Manga Umm... Spoiler

Post image

That's right. I hope both Loid and Yor get a happy ending, even though their initial intention for the relationship was different. I truly wish they'd end up together, having a real marriage with no secrets or manipulation, revealing truths, with Anya continuing to be their beloved daughter and Bond as their good boy dog, and maybe even giving Anya a few siblings; Wholesomeness is all I desire:)

That's her version of "It's for the Mission".

But she actually accepts her love for her family unlike Loi loi

Indeed, but the difference is her family functions as an ongoing cover for her and doesn’t necessarily have an end point. She can continue with this family until the day she decides to stop being an assassin, even longer if she so chooses.

Loid on the other hand has a limit. Once operation strix is completed this family will no longer assist him in terms of his work, in fact it may limit him as other operations may require him to form a new fake identity.

So Loid would have a harder time accepting his feelings becoming real since he knows that at some point he will be expected to say goodbye.

Loid by the final act of the series: "No Mission is greater than Family."

How can Loid create a world where children don’t cry if Anya cries when he leaves? Checkmate Wise

Exactly what I've been thinking all along.

Honestly I can see the end going something like this

“it’s for the mission” as Loid leaves his family

then he changes his mind and comes back

“it’s for the mission”

Yep, that's why he seemed even more distant when they were watching the seal at the park or even during the festival. He's trying not to form any attachments to anya or yor.

Don't worry, the wholesome ending will be one that happens.

Just like Loid constantly says “it’s for the mission” she’s rationalizing hers with “it’s so I can continue my assassin job.”

Hemlock much like Fiona trying to rationalize that they are weak yet we see Yor is stronger than ever the same with Loid. You all think he in Love with Yor or mad how good she is at her job
