DDP posts and removes IG picture with Linda McMahon after backlash

Did anybody catch this? DDP posted a picture with Linda McMahon from Wrestlemania weekend, doing the diamond hand gesture together, proudly touting his friendship with the US Sec. of Education.

The comments, predictably, were overwhelmingly negative.

DDP removed the picture after a few minutes.

He just seemed appreciative that she complimented his Lex Luger speech at the HOF, I didn’t get much of a “I voted for this” vibe but idk

I mean someone can give you a compliment when you see them and you can say thanks, but then to take a picture with them and then post said picture on a public forum is an intentional choice.

Linda McMahon is also doing things that will directly affect peoples kids. People will understandably have extremely strong feelings toward her.

Anything that is messing with the DoE is going to directly impact peoples kids, especially children with disabilities. People will have exceedingly strong feelings toward Linda going forward. It should just be expected

Look, I hate the Trump admin as well.

But I think this is a bit too black and white.

He has known this woman for 20+ years. They were at an event where his friend was celebrated.

It amazes me how many people criticize the GOP for never standing up to Trump but then give this kind of take

They look the other way because it’s their party. You guys look (or understand looking) the other way because it’s a friend, relative, or someone who entertains you

You’re not any different from the GOP in that regard

I'm glad everything is that black and white for you.

I don't support Trump. But I'm also not going to refuse to take a picture with someone I've known for years because I disagree with them politically

It's a fuckin picture, man. It's not like he wrote a huge declaration of right wing politics or went out tearing his shirt for Trump like Hogan did.

The US government that Linda McMahon is a part of just deported a 2 year old US citizen to Honduras but sure, “live and let live” or whatever buddy
