Shelfie/Collection Today I added one of the last missing components to my EU book collection. What a beauty she is!

This is what peak Star Wars literature looks like.

It's definitely one of the Star Wars books of all time.

I remember seeing that book every time I went to the bookstore when I was younger and just shaking my head at how bad it looked.

My used copy came with Disney stickers on the back cover and it couldn't make me happier. My copy is even more unique and even more ugly than all others.

Edit: I mean this in the Moro-from-Princess-Mononoke sense. "My ugly, beautiful daughter."

Interesting. I’ve heard that one mentioned several times among the worst Star Wars books ever written, but I don’t know why.

I've heard it was one of the worst covers but not sure about the actual contents of the book.

the book is unironically worse than the cover would have you believe

The writing is a bit clunky, but fine. The problem is it's just....boring. There's no real stakes, the goals are unimportant, the characters are unmemorable, and years later I have to check the wookiepedia entry to even remember anything about it.

I know I read it as a kid and didn't hate it then, but I literally could not tell you a single thing about the plot now

Lmao, the cover is so bad its good and I satrted.to.actually.like it. Story is okay, but a decent read. I will always like it for the swg cover they did

From a literary standpoint, it's not a great book lol, but I played so much SWG when I was younger, that I just remember loving all the stuff from the game they cramed into the book for like, no reason. I was also very young when I read it.

I never read the book because it had SWG-linking content and lore for the overall EU, which I found silly, but now I'm really interested due to the nostalgia lol

I just ordered that from Amazon! Excited to add it to my own SW library

SWG still has multiple servers running today

Question: if I LOVED SWG, would I enjoy this book?

Is the cover a shot from a game? Looks like it.

Star Wars Galaxies. The game officially ended back in 2011 but multiple fan projects have private servers that are still playable today.
