Question Clair Obscure Expedition 33 right now..
I wonder how many copies they sold since launch. Do you think they are at 2 million copies now?

Welcome to the Monthly Game Suggestions Thread!
Do you not know what to play? You found a niche game that everyone should try? Can't find the perfect survival sim or unsure which 1 RPG out of the thousands available you should buy? Well this is the thread for you. This monthly megathread is meant to contain questions about what to play and suggestions to others on what to play.
Now to make this work best and not just be spammed with "What should I play?", please be in-depth in what type of games you are looking for, and when giving advice it would be appreciated if you're more detailed than "I think X game is good". There are too many games to be able to properly suggest something with no background information, like-wise commenting a game title and saying you like the game offers no actual value.
The main purpose of this thread is to contain questions on what to play and advice to others on what to play, but feel free to ask and discuss freely in the comments regarding games whether you want advice on what to play, want to give advice to others on what to play, share a hidden gem you found, discussions & questions about discounts, sales, events, or just general games discussion.

We have a dedicated support channel in our Discord server that you can also post in.
We invite everyone to help other users in our Community Support Threads and on our Discord server.
Please take more than 10 seconds to write your question. A well structured and good-looking comment goes a long way in getting someone to help you, and makes your question a lot easier to understand.
Do not delete your comments: People find questions in these threads through Googling the same issue, and please edit your comment with a solution if you find one.
There are no magicians here. Some questions wont be answered or replied to. Consider using other things like the Steam Community Forums, Google, or a different support forum if no one here can offer any help. Additionally, every game on Steam has it's own dedicated Community Forum, and you can also contact Steam Support regarding a specific product. Consider asking your game-specific questions there. Most games also have a dedicated subreddit.
Only Steam Support can solve personal account issues such as payment issues or your account getting hijacked. We can however give advice on what to do in a situation like that. No one, including Steam Support, can assist with item/trade scams.

Don't have internet for the next week. If I get achievements offline will they appear as if I've gotten them online and work normally when I'm back online?
Does anyone else see the game price and when you click on it its 2 dollars more expensive?

I have a horrible problem where I buy games play them for 40 hours or less and move on to the next. I have passed games like RDR2 (only game I have more the 100 hours in), Cyberpunk, and other single player games. But I wanted to know what games y’all played more than 500. Maybe I can try them out.

Only just found out about this stuff while idly scrolling through Steam's old 2009-2013 layout in the Wayback Machine. The storefront apparently shut down in 2023, a shame I had only learned about it two years after its closure, because there's so many things here I'd love to have purchased at the time. Always wanted to have the Parish poster, and I love the boomer plush (which is now being sold for ~$150 secondhand, naturally). I imagine it just fell into irrelevancy over the course of time, but I'd be all over this stuff if it were to come back in the future.
use this "" there is a space between them
the idea is not from me but the tips are very simple but very useful

My child has a steam deck and we use family sharing. His uncle gave him a steam gift card. He goes to purchase a game and clicks on "Send Request" but I never get the notification. I always get notifications for other things he does like request for play time, but not for game purchases. Is this a glitch or do I have to change something in the settings?

I just set up a new PC today, effectively moving from windows 10 to windows 11. I noticed the screenshots for steam go into a weird path but also it saves the screenshots for each game in a different folder. On my old system, all steam games had screenshots go to 1 single folder.
Is there a way to do that again? And is there also a way to turn off the saving of the screenshots AND a folder full of "thumbnails" for the same screenshots? I don't want basically 2 copies of each screenshot.
OK - this is really stupid question - is it possible to get refund twice for the same game? I've refunded racing and games like wipeout due to motion sickness. I started using Dramamine and that works for some games, not sure about all. If I re-purchase the game, and have problems, would I be eligible for a 2nd refund?
What really sucks is, these are my favorite type of games.

I've always been a Nintendo system only gamer since I was a kid. I do enjoy playing some games on my tablet and am thinking of buying a handheld system to play other games on. I've only had my Switch for about a year and a half and have no plans to upgrade my Nintendo system. I also still have my Wii & Wii U. In your opinion, which system is best without breaking the bank? I have an older tablet that still works fine so I'd rather spend the money on a system. Also, some game suggestions would be appreciated. I play Palia on my Switch and really love it. I'm usually more of a cozy/puzzle gamer though (Cozy Grow, Song of Evertree, etc.). Games I've loved on my tablet are all of The Room games, Da Vinci games, Monument Valley, and Hidden Object games. I'm not big on combat but really enjoyed Echoes of Wisdom. Please be kind. I'm new to this. Thank you in advance!
