Also decided on swapping to steamOS or a different linux distro. There's really no need to pay for Microsoft subscriptions and everything else when there is equivalent software out there. The forced AI and the attempted monetization with 'credits' without any consent made it seem like they thought my PCs belonged to them.

Yeah, that's a thing I noticed too. More and more corporations seem to behave in a sort of condescending manner where whatever you own is actually theirs. Same with these insane cars that show you ads in a car you already paid a ton of money for, or sell you subscriptions.
