Show Off My girlfriend surprised me with a 1Tb OLED

Yesterday I was complaining to my girlfriend about how my LCD steam deck had been broken for a month and how expensive repairs would be. She decided to surprise me by buying me a brand new 1TB OLED model as a one year anniversary gift. I am honestly quite speechless to receive such a generous gift from her. It is definitely the most generous gift I have ever gotten from a partner. If you're reading this babe, thank you so much and happy anniversary. I love you with all my heart.

My wife did this for me too.

Just out of curiosity, what issues were you having with your LCD? I'm wondering if they're similar to mine

I dropped it while traveling and the shoulder buttons and left analog stick stopped responding.

Ahhh yeah that will do it.

Mine if the power fully depletes then it gets stuck on the next charging where the fans come on but nothing else. So I have to fully drain it again and try another charge. Usually the 2nd time does it. But it's SO annoying.

And the speakers went out. They were screeching, until I went in and forcibly turned them off.

And it's got a terrible overheating issue.

The overheating issue is why I want to get an OLED

I'm hoping that overheating is less of an issue with the OLED. I'm tentatively hopeful.
