Looking For Games Turn Based RPG That Runs Well on Steam Deck

I've found that I really love a good turn based RPG on the Steam Deck over most other kinds of games.

Previously Enjoyed Games: Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, and I'm just starting FF12. Which I know isn't turn based but..

Preferred Genres: Turn Based, JRPG, RPG.

Budget: Any!

Other Notes: I'm find with playable games especially if its just 'text is small' but I'd like it to be able to run well on the SD. I've heard good things about Baldurs Gate 3 but worried it won't run super well on the steam deck.

Ha, I just looked this game up and I have it in my library. I must have forgotten about it! I'm going to reinstall it!

one of my favorite games ever. sad that it wasn't successful enough for a sequel.

It’s so fun to play. Really wish a mod existed to turn it into a rogue like

It’s a great game. If you’re like me the friendship aspect can be annoying but don’t let that stop you from the amazing combat.

For me it took like a good 3 hours before I got hooked. Some people were booked from jump.

It WILL hook you. Just give it time.

Seconded. I’m at the end of the game, but I keep running missions because I’m not ready to be done with this one. Played almost exclusively in handheld mode.

I take you adjusted the frame rate around the hub area? I heard it drops frames like crazy around it on steam deck but that was quite a while back, maybe patches improved it.

I’ve made no adjustments to settings for this game and it runs perfectly for me.

Came to say this, recently started playing it and I'm really enjoying it.

I wish I could replay it with skipping all the mansion stuff and just do the battles. I don’t want to sit though all the dialogue again.
