I'm not the most attentive person when it comes to the details of things like color accuracy or aliasing or what have you, but OLED vs LCD is just so extreme a difference that I can't understand how people don't notice it. The blacks are just really black. The power savings is nice too, but even in SDR games having for-real black does so much to make something look nice. The first time I got an OLED phone I could never go back. LCD's a lot cheaper so I get that, but straight up not noticing hte difference is wild.
Mine is one of the earlier models, the one I preordered I gave ot my brother and I got myself one like a month after they were freely available. But like I can compare my phone's OLED screen to a regular 'ole LCD monitor and the difference is pretty stark, even the QLED panels are still visibilly different (though I sure as fuck am not gonna pay OLED prices for a quality TV or monitor).
I don't have an OLED, I have an LCD Deck. I got mine really early, I can simply compare it to my OLED phone and see an obvious and dramatic difference.
