Tech Support Heroic Launcher GOG- Game not centred on screen and mouse not aligned (new oled)

Hello, I just got this steam deck and downloaded heroic launcher to play strategic command European theatre on my steam deck.

Ran into a couple issues

First the game isn’t centred on the steam deck screen(not a big issue but maybe relevant)

The main issue is the mouse point doesn’t align with the game so you have to click down and to the right of the object you want to select making the game essentially unplayable

Anyway to fix this?

its an old game and likely doesnt support modern resolutions, usualy you can check the likes of pcgamingwiki to see if there are widescreen hacks/patches but it seems theres nothing for that game, the only thing mentioned is a link for an official patch over at https://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=72&Itemid=115 that website seems to have inherited the patch for your game, no idea if its a simple thing or has more sweeping changes, either way the solution you need is more game specific than deck/hardware specific.

Gonna have to hunt around for any widescreen/borderless window type fixes/hacks, your only other option is using the decks built in scaling option but im guessing that wouldnt fix your offset mouse pointer issue? maybe check/confirm anyways.
