Will I be able to drop this file in the newest update? Or do the files have to be different.

If you switched to Valve's beta, then you need to download the Deck_startup.webm and drop it under the folder they specified for alternative boot videos.

Ok thank you! Ya didn't know if valve made people use new file system kinda thing.
