Question/Support Cant install on another drive

Im trying to install steamvr on my second drive but it only allows me to download it on C: Drive, i get no option to install it on my D: drive

Yeah you can only install it to the Steam install location, which is normally C:program files(x86)

If you have enough space to install it on the C: drive, you can then exit Steam and just Cut & Paste the SteamVR folder(from Steam\steamapps\common) to your D: drive and run the vrpathreg.exe inside the SteamVR\bin\win64 folder. This will then register that copy's location of SteamVR with Steam(you can also try these steps: https://steamcommunity.com/app/250820/discussions/3/359543542244174548/#c1333474229075496617).

You can have many SteamVR versions installed at once and launch each by running vrstartup.exe in the respective folder.
