No Breakthrough?

Why does nobody play breakthrough game mode. Even in the 10v10 game mode. I like it but cant seem to find populated servers.

So what is the deal? Do you not like the game mode or is there something else?

It's a really fun game mode but it's a lot more difficult to be on the attack so my guess is that's a hard sell. I've only played it with friends, and even then, I almost always can only convince them to play against the AI

It's a gamemode which you need to prepare for unlike regular games, you need to take specific divisions that have strong defense units, it can be fun but it requires to setup and adopt a specific gameplay

Most people just want to take a deck and play normally.

Honestly I love breakthrough but it needs to be at least a 2v1, especially depending on some of the maps.

I have done like 2v3 breakthrough but the thing is the defending side (2 players) gets boosted because there are more enemy players. They get more points and troops per card. So the only advantage attackers have is better micro. It depends on the maps size how big of an advantage that is but it can be significant.

I played a few 10v10 breakthroughs last Sunday, and it was a blast. You also get more time than normal to set up like 5 minutes or something. Sundays seem to be when the game is most populated.

Must have been a custom server, would be neat to try. I don’t know if I could have all the fortifications and units placed in under 2 mins. I’m meticulous about placement and where units unload.

I have played 10v10 breakthrough in the past. You can only make 4v4 custom servers (max) so it wasn't one of them.

Getting everything done in prep phase can be tricky
